Event Parking
All guests attending the Groundhog Games should park along the right side of Donmar Road. Parking in the driveway and garage are prohibited.After parking, follow signs to the Groundhog Games & enter through the garage.Security
The Groundhog Games care. Event safety is our number one priority. Due to the large scale of the event this year, all guests are required to go through a security screening prior to entering the games. Due to personal reasons, the Staff fundamentally believe in this - and this is a requirement for entry. Thank you for understanding.Wristbands
All participants who attend North Royalton High School must be present in school on January 30th (the day of the games). This is to comply with school policy, and so you can receive your entry wristband. After the security screening, you must show your wristband to a Staff member as proof of admission. Your wristband must stay on throughout the duration of the Groundhog Games.For out-of-school guests, you will be receiving a digital entry ticket.Synopsis
Your goal: fight to become the Grandhog
Before the Games begin, all players will randomly be split into two teams - Team Winter and Team Spring. Teams are randomly assigned to ensure no bias can take place.You will be challenged by ten rounds, and teams must work together to earn the most points.
We will have five fire rounds & five ice rounds. The difference between the two types will be discussed in more detail at the event.
The Rules
In order for a fair play session, all participants must agree to the following rules before attending the Groundhog Games. There will be a Groundhog Games Agreement Form that all players will sign before the games start.
